If you don't have your own boat, then you can take the tour boat M/S Freden from the promenade in Västervik or you can simply take one of the taxi boats. M/S Freden stops at Hasselö and Idö, where overnight accommodations are available. M/S Freden has several departure times a day during the peak season

Guest Harbours in Tjust
Västervik's archipelago has about ten guest harbors, from Loftahammar in the north to Blankaholm in the south. Västervik's guest harbor (450 slips) and Marincenter in Loftahammar (50 slips) offer full service with restaurant and pub for guests. Help is also readily available should you have problems with your boat.

Archipelago Festival / Hasselö Rowing

Rowing involves rowing in original renovated rowboats. The rowers and their passengers are met by thousands of people in the harbor Fiskehamnen in central Västervik. A joint walk to Båtsmansgränd and the Archipelago market concludes the event.
