Paddle a canoe in Stångån

Paddle a canoe in Stångån, the river that runs into Vimmerby Municipality from Östergötland. It runs south towards Storebro, turning and continuing thereafter, in a northerly direction through Krön and Juttern. Canoes may be rented at Kröngården and Pippi's hotel.

Take a tent with you and stay overnight at one of the resting areas which you will find along the waterway. The resting areas are equipped with outside toilets and a refuse area.

There are also a lot of sights worth seeing while you are out paddling that are well worth a visit. At the Tourist Office there are brochures which will provide a better description of where you can stay the night, where you can go paddling and where the sites are.
