Canoe Routes in Oskarshamn

Emån

Emån is one of Sweden's biggest watercourses and offers both calm, scenic stretches as well as wild rapids for canoeing. The experienced and beginner can find suitable canoeing here. Högsby can also offer canoeing in a number of lakes and flowing watercourses.

Oskarshamn
The last stage in the river Emån. Put-in is approx. 70 m downstream from Emsfors floodgates. The route continues out towards the Baltic Sea. Take-out occurs right before E22 highway, by the Em resting place.

Marströmmen

Calm paddling. You put in by Mörtfors bathing area. The route heads north towards Mörtfors community, where a take-out is required in order to continue. Take-out occurs to the left, after the bridge. You put in again approx. 100 m downstream from the mill. The route continues towards Solstadström, where there is a take-out approx. 500 m downstream before the boat houses - if you don't prefer to continue paddling to Misterhults archipelago.
