Emån

Emån is one of Sweden's biggest watercourses and offers both calm, scenic stretches as well as wild rapids for canoeing. The experienced and beginner can find suitable canoeing here. Högsby can also offer canoeing in a number of lakes and flowing watercourses.

Högsby
A canoe trip, in several stages, along the river Emån. You put in by the bridge in Ryningsnäs. A take-out is required by Forsaryds power station in order to continue towards Högsby. The take-out occurs near the bridge. You put in past the power station. The trip continues towards Åsebo, where there is a take-out right next to the bridge. Most of the stage is embanked. Emån then continues into Mönsterås Municipality.
